Miami, Florida(Hexa PR Wire–October 7, 2025)–Tina Fox, founder and CEO of Tern Mentoring and a first-generation college graduate, joined The Michael Peres Podcast to discuss building mentorship into the core of higher education outcomes. The episode examined how structured alumni–student connections can ease the transition from campus to career, and why redefining achievement around guidance and networks—rather than credentials alone—supports long-term success.
Fox outlined why she launched Tern to serve the needs she once had as a student, how universities can activate alumni communities, and practical models that provide real-world support alongside academics. The conversation highlighted mentorship as a durable bridge to opportunity and a way to align personal growth with professional readiness.
